While I bought this dishwasher six weeks ago the long wait for delivery and delivery issues which delayed the installation I have only used it twice. It cleans well but I was disappointed that it is not quieter than the old machine it replaced. The customer service was terrible. I spoke to at least 10 people before purchasing as an advertised promotion could not be added to the purchase. Most of them were unhelpful unknowledgeable and didnt care. One who understood was unable to add it herself. I finally bought it to avoid missing out on the sale and now they will not provide the promised installation kit and have been generally rude about it. I have called texted and used live chat. Customer service is a misnomer.

The middle shelf is rickety there arent enough slots so theres wasted space and energy as you cant fit a lot of dishes in it theres no short cycle again a waste of resources no rinse and hold option.

Its been over two weeks and I dont have it yet. However I purchased it because of a couple of promotional offers. I have never received one and despite numerous calls chats and emails to get assistance before placing my order no one could get it to work. I have contacted LG through calls chats and emails including screen shots of the promotion they claimed didnt exist even though it still appears on the website since the purchase and no one has been willing or able to assist. I asked to speak to a supervisor because no one understood the issue and was told they dont have any working I hope that the dishwasher is better than their customer service.

I ordered this dishwasher two weeks ago and it will be another week before it is delivered. It is supposed to come with a free installation kit but the process as set forth in the promotion instructions did not work. I used the chat and spoke to five different customer service agents over several days. Most had no idea what I was referring to and denied that the offer existed. I had to direct them to the website. Several just told me too bad they didnt know why it didnt work. Finally someone tried to assist me but the offer wouldnt work on her end either. I finally purchased the dishwasher so that I wouldnt lose the sale price and emailed LG. They wrote me that they were sorry that I missed the promotion. However the promotion is good for another two weeks. They asked for screenshots which I sent. I have never heard back.I wrote the presidents text and received a text from the liaison indicating that they would respond in one or two weeks. I have spent far too much time and have now had contact with almost a dozen people without a resolution. I also tried to add installation after the purchase and have been told that it isnt possible even though the delivery was almost two weeks later. I was given the name of the delivery company and told to call them. They told me that I had to call LG - they only responded to the direction of LG. It has been a frustrating and unpleasant experience. I hope that the dishwasher doesnt have problems.

I bought an LG dishwasher in August after owning LG appliances for over 30 years. It threw an error code for the motor after about 30 days. the company that LG contracts with has been out 3 times relaxed the mother board the motor and the main switch. Each appointment has been weeks in between so now its November and I still dont have a working dishwasher. I am definitely reconsidering by dedication to LG appliances

Stopped after 2 years

We bought this in July 2022. Worked alright for the first two years - occasionally it would power off mid cycle and we would need to rerun the cycle with dishes. But was decently quiet and the price matched my expectations. Late August 2024 however the control panel started acting haywire and then a bunch of noises came from the machine. Based on other reviews our dishwasher showed the same symptoms as other LG dishwashers with control board issues which the warranty for the control board expires after 2 years. It would cost $300 for LG to fix our dishwasher. Just disappointed in the quality that a dishwasher only lasts 2 years and then the cost of repair is almost 50 of the original cost. This was my first LG appliance and after this experience most likely my last.

I have used the dishwasher only a few times. It replaced an older version that needed a new pump. I chose the old one because it loaded my cereal bowls plates and pasta bowls so well. The new one looks from the outside just like the first. However there are differences which I do not like as well. The tines holding plates and bowls on lower shelf are not dog legged. Or they do not notch in at bottom to accept outside curve of plate or pasta bowl. Therefore they do not stand straight up but like to lean on the one next to them. This causes rinsing not to be as effective and sometimes depositing and leaving food on the plate or bowl. It seems LG took a step backward. Also it seems to leave dishes wetter than the older model. I have found it works better when I do not use energy saver and do dishes early enough to open the door after the end comes on after the cycle. Almost everything is dry by morning when I unload it. I used the auto setting once but my dishes were not clean. I went back to normal. I dont really use the top shallow shelf right now. Maybe in the future. I am a person who does not put pans large anything large knives wooden handles or utensils in the dishwasher. So I do not know how they do. This is a black dishwasher which was my deciding factor.

Not happy with product at all Beautiful appliance but unfortunately I didnt buy it to look good in my kitchen. I thought as another customer buys a dishwasher it would wash my dishes and dry them. It does neither. I wont say all my dishes arent clean but its very frustrating to know I have almost a 1/4 to a half sometimes not clean and now everything I use it Im holding my breath and having to check each dish and utensil. Also I have the same complaint as another review on here as well it wont dry my dishes either and like her as well Im always having to open air dry. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I hate giving negative review but wouldnt want anyone to waste their money on an expensive product that does not do what it was made for. Im really missing my old almost 25 year old dishwasher it wasnt the prettiest but honestly it still got my dishes alot cleaner and it dried

I purchased an LG 3 Tier Dishwasher in March 2024 and until Now I thought all Dishwashers were Alike. My NEW LG has 4 Arms at bottom and in Middle and is ABSOLUTELY QUIET The Front Controls are Easy to Read and Easy to Use for the Settings you choose. I love that I have it in Black also which makes it easy to clean. When friends or family come over for meals and we load the dishwasher up with Pots Plates Glasses and Silverware and I turn my LG dishwasher on People ask if it is even on and are AMAZED how Quiet it is. They put their Ears to Check to hear if on. So now I have been told that I have them Sold on their Next Dishwasher. Thanks LG for such an EXCELLENT Product that I went out and Purchased a NEW Clothes Washer and Dryer and cant wait for them to be delivered to try them out. I also have an LG Electric Stove which I love. I have been Convinced that I am Now an LG Appliance Customer for Life.

purchased Dec. 2022 and worked great. Unfortunately it developed an electric panel malfunction in Jan 2024 and we are unable to use it. Tried all the suggested resets etc eventually requested a service call and was told the parts/labor for the service call would be $300. Thats a tough pill to swallow and we have zero confidence that the service call will be ONLY $300 when all is said and done . . . So we purchased a new dishwasher from a different manufactuer. T Btw- he attached tag on the front of the unit that says 10 year warranty in big letters says in small letters that this applies to motor only . . . So shame on us for not noticing.

Contacted lg for service through their site do I could get an lg recommended service provider. Then contacted me a couple of times I answered their questions and they never followed through. Purchased dishwasher 10 months ago. Had major issues with extreme stinky stench smell. Also at times would not dream properly. Turns out LG sent internal repair man from NCR. His name was Renee. He did a thorough check and discovered that installation was not properly done originally when we purchased dishwasher. It needed to be leveled and the hose needed to be lifted From under the sink. It/he Degree completely resolved our issues and we are extremely happy with our wonderful dishwasher. Renee was great. He really knew what he was doing.
