Solid counter depth French door fridge for family

Solid counter depth built in fridge. Overall no major issues after one year except for some noise that was due to insulation that dislodged off the compressor easily fixed under warranty. Water pump and icemaker working well as described. Overall satisfied with purchase still not sure why counter depth costs so much but this one works well for now.

MAJOR ISSUE GETTING SERVICE

Within 7 months the fan motor became an issue -LG advised they have no repair service where I reside - THIS was never told to me when I purchased the refrigerator in 2/2024 - so NOW we are in the 5th week LG sent me the parts - I have no clue what to do with the warranty parts They now tell me they will hopefully have someone contact me in 24 to 48 hrs By then I will be going into my 6th week without a refrigerator and a MAJOR Loss of food I love the refrigerator but upset I was not told about the lack of repair service in my area

I purchased my new LG fridge a month ago and really like the style and practicality of it. The ice maker takes up very little room allowing for more freezer storage and the fridge has a lot of space and see through drawers to not loose track of whats inside. Great product

Kick plate needs replacing doors do not line up

I bought a new refrigerator in May and have been trying to get a part replaced since that time. It is now Aug. 2nd. The part had to be ordered twice after many phone calls I have received the part. It was supposed to be installed yesterday the person never showed. I called to reschedule and they can not give me a new time because there calander does not go out more than two weeks. They didnt even tell me what to do now.

The Good Very nice and impressive-looking Refrigerator it is very quiet and cools well The Bad It is extremely expensive The Ugly. It took two months to resolve the problem. They could not fix it but thanks to the 5-year extended Warranty we got our money back

BAD Delivery and Customer Service - BEWARE

Tried ordering this refrigerator added each and every available service including haul away and the extended warranty. When the delivery person arrived they told me they couldnt deliver the refrigerator because I didnt buy installation service. I tried to explain that there were no installation services available when I made my purchase and that I purchased the haul away which was the only available add-on option. They had to reschedule my delivery for 10 days later and when I called LG customer service they admitted it was an error on their website where the installation services was not available for purchase. Customer service is extremely bad. Ive spent 1.5 hours on hold today and no one has been able to escalate my issue. No supervisor was available. Tried calling customer service again and they literally told me to call back in 3-5 business days. Absolutely unacceptable especially considering the cost of this appliance. My elderly mother has no refrigerator because of their mistake and they do absolutely NOTHING to fix the issue or make it right.

2 month old fridge still works

We bought this fridge because it fit and could be delivered quickly after our old fridge was beyond repair. So far 2 months it working fine. Im very concerned about the reliability and the compressor failing in several years. The true test of quality is if it lasts 20 years.

Ice Maker is the only flaw

Ive had this refrigerator for over a year. It is nice looking and reliably cold. My frustration has been with the ice maker. It does not work as it should. 1. When the ice fills to certain point the bar is supposed to come out to stop ice production on its own. I dont know if its ever done this. I tend to hear a grinding noise coming from the freezer. When I open the door the ice has over flowed to the very top and the new ice thats trying to pop out cannot due to space--thus the grinding noise. I end up having to turn it off entirely and wait until Ive used more of the ice. 2. When the bar is down which happens on occasion and has stopped making ice. I then have to reset it. I do what Im supposed to do by putting a paperclip into the tiny pinhole on the side for 3-5 seconds and...nothing happens. I put the clip in again and again and nothing happens. Ive given up and just put the ice bucket back on and go about my day. Later I notice the bar has moved back but not at the point of reset. 3. I shouldnt have to reset my ice maker so much It is the only thing I have to regularly do to keep it functioning. Ive never had to do anything like this with any other ice maker Ive had. So...its really the bar. Its unreliable and unpredictable making regular repairs necessary.

Good and expensive looking

Good locking expensive Refrigerator according to the it should last for a long time But during the first couple of months the Ice maker stopped working since it was under warranty so they fixed it After about a year they replaced the Ice maker because it was not working Now since about a year and a half I am without Ice and cold water again because the Ice maker is not working I received promises but for over a month so far they did not fix it or replace it despite that I paid for a 5 year Warranty So what shall I say GOOD LOOKING VERY EXPENSIVE REFRIGERATOR OF MARGINAL QUALITY AND POOR CUSTOMKER SERVICE ? Or maybe just bad luck?

LG service unable to repair a $9000+ Fridge=HELP

This is a new $9000+ side-by-side built in refridgerator. It is at a rarely used family residence/cottage. We have had issues with the water/ice maker performance soon after it started getting used. The first service call reported it was getting water but they didnt know anything about this model..and then they left. The second visit from a team of two servicemen declared the water filter needed replacing but left without doing this. Strange because it was rarely used-no one lives there An OEM filter was installed and still nothing works. The 3rd visit never came never re-scheduled we need a caretaker to let them in and we are still in the lurch. We are not happy at all.

Love the fridge but ice maker problems cs SUCKS

We have had our new refrigerator for 3.5 months now. Love how it looks and how spacious it is. That being said I expect much better from LG customer service- to put it bluntly customer service sucks Our ice maker stopped working in early November. They sent us a replacement ice maker arrived promptly and easy to install but that only worked for about 48 hours. We have had repair service out to our house twice and issue still not fixed. Will be coming out to service again in the next week or two. The automated customer service is only helpful for minor problems. I have spent way too much time in customer service chat and on the phone only to be put on hold and chat/call dropped. You should be able to call or text with a customer service representative and receive good service. This is an expensive refrigerator I expect better If it is not repaired properly 3rd times the charm it should replaced.
