This washing machine is awful. It vibrates so bad. The first time I used it my upstairs neighbors thought we were having an earthquake. I have had technicians out four times and they try to say this is normal. Finally the last one that came out told LG it should be replaced. Dealing with LG has been a nightmare. Finally they said we will replace the machine but you need to take off the serial tag and send it to us first. That is illegal in the state of California. They did not care and will not replace my machine unless I do.

DO NOT BUY I bought this in summer 2021. I had a leak 2/2024 and now 3/2025. It is a hole in the bellows in the exact same place The machine shakes so much the rubber bellows rubs against the metal covered in something like moleskin and has caused a hole and then the washer of course leaks. Customer service has not been helpful. I would think at least a discount on a second bellows might be appropriate.

Dont bother with this machine it is SO loud with anything more that a sock. On the normal load it shakes and wobbles across the floor. On the medium spin load it wobbles and shakes. We have tried feet for it checked to make sure the shipping bolts were out rebalanced it and had an LG tech out. When the loud banging happened the tech said thats just the way it is for this machine. So either this machine is awful or the tech didnt care. I have attached a video of the medium cycle and a half-filled load of mixed clothing as an example of what you can expect. In any case be warmed LG customer service is useless and apathetic. Their third party tech they used had awful reviews and when I flagged for them they were uninterested- choose some other brand

Very Disappointed. This washer shakes very aggressively during the spin cycle such that the dryer started shaking off when stacked scratched the top of my washer and damaged my wall. When I chatted in with LG I inquired about a stacking kit and found out it should have been included. I had no idea there are conflicting answers in the Dryers QA but was told because I hadnt reported it during the first 30 days they couldnt give me a stacking kit. This is a very poor customer experience. I as a consumer should not be punished because of factory inadequacies. I am writing this review in hopes of getting some help as it seems the LG only helps when issues are written on reviews not when you chat in.

The clothes come out really clean and I like the way I can use the app. Because it spins so fast it does make a little bit of noise on spinning but is to be expected. We got this compact washer dryer. They look good connected to wifi nice app but unfortunately it vibrates so hard that my neighbor downstairs complained. Got professional installer to level it got vibration padsbut nothing. LG sent a repair person but found nothing wrong with it so i guess it is by design which is really bad - not recomended

They told me it was $200 dollars just to walk in the door. I went with a service near me. It was the motor board. That cost me $385 I am not happy.

This is by far the best washer we have owned since we moved to the USA. No prehistoric top load washer can get the clothing as clean as this front load washer from LG. The app is easy to use and if one cleans the washer after each washing cycle and leaves the door open a front load washer will not start to smell.

Poor service for LG products

Although Ive owned the washer/dryer for a month I could not use them until last week. This was due to not having the water/electric connections. However I am very displeased with the customer service department. I had a broken part on the dryer. The location services department has yet to return my calls about getting the replacement part or where to get it repaired. I would not recommend this product simply because of there service department.

In April of 2022 we purchased the washer and dryer for our condo from Best Buy. We shopped for this washer/dryer combo because it was smaller and able to fit into our limited space. Our saga began when Best Buy contractors delivered the units and told us they could not install them because the Stacking frame was not with the units. At purchase we had specifically asked the sales person if the stacking unit was included and had been told it was. The installers left our condo without installing the washer and dryer. We made many calls to Best Buy being transferred many times to customer service reps until finally one person said Well did you check inside of the dryer because that is usually where it is. We opened the dryer and discovered the box labeled stacking unit. We immediately called back to the delivery installation people and were told that unfortunately the soonest they could return would be a couple of days. On Friday 4/15/2022 the Best Buy Installers were rescheduled to connect our LG washer and dryer and they arrived in a Rental Isuzu Box truck which the driver backedup and hit the wooden fence on the north side of our Condominium building destroying about 5 feet of cedar fencing. The installers then came inside and did hook up our washer and dryer but our confidence was severely shaken. Our washer and dryer seemed to work well between May 2022 until this past June 6 2024 when an error message occurred in the washing machine and water starting pouring out of the bottom of the washer flooding the laundry closet and flowing down to the condo basement one floor below. We called Mazter Appliance repair a local repair shop that we had used previously. The technician came out and found a large hole in the drum tub. We understood that the drum was under warranty so we called LG customer service to obtain a replacement part. LG sent the wrong part and it took several weeks to finally get the correct part. Meanwhile our tenants had no washing machine. We also had a huge clean up and remediation bill for our laundry closet and water damage to the basement below . Our total estimates are north of $12000. The correct part arrived and on 8/22/24 the technician installed it. Once it was installed he checked to make sure the machine would work and it would not. It continued to give several error messages including V5 and others. After much work the technician reported that he did not think the machine could be repaired and that the replacement of so many additional parts meant it would be better to get a replacement machine. I again called LG customer service and made the request for a replacement washing machine. I was told that the additional failing parts were not under warranty and they would not replace the machine. We dont know why the drum tub got a big hole in it which leaked all over our condo and damaged our building. We determined that we would never have another LG product again. We have now purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer and will be replacing our current broken LG washer and dryer. This is why I have rated your product 1 star and would rate it No Star if I could.

This is my first experience with a compact front load washer. I have a compact dryer . I had to go with the compact dryer then the compact washer as it was getting difficult finding regular size dryers and washers to fit down my narrow basement stairs . I have used my new washer 79 times according to LQ ThinQ app. I have had high efficiency full size washers before so I knew what to expect . The washing time and noise levels are about the same. It took a while to get use the front loading . All my past experiences have been top loading . Only disappointment was with Normal Wash extra rinse is not an option even though the manual book states it is . Would recommend washer

Two years worked flawlessly. Then it started leaking. The tech discovered a plastic 5 dollar part snapped in half. Apparently the washer was over loaded. Now its going to cost 500 dollars in labor to replace a 5 dollar plastic part. I thought this was a smart washer but I guess not.

Im very happy with my LG washer. It is very quiet in the wash cycle but spins very powerfula little bit more then I would like it to. Does a good job cleaning the clothes. If there was one thing I would change is I wish the door was white. This washer is in the kitchen and the door makes it more noticeable.

Honestly its perfect. I have no complaints at all. The smaller size is great for me as I live alone. It washes everything even my king sized duvet insert. It washes my clothing clean better than at the laundromat. It does take longer than regular machines to wash I guess loads start at around 50m but I spent a year abroad in the EU and thats how the washers are there so Im used to it. I also love the integration with my phone so that I can get notifications and do remote start. Really satisfied and I cant wait to get the matching dryer.

We bought ours a Best Buy who sent a repair man several times to replace parts level and try to solve the problem. All he said was unfortunelty these machines are know for this. Horrible horrible horrendous. Takes 6+ hours to do a load of laundry shakes the apartment when spinning and makes loud knocking noises. Almost every time I use to flashes an error code and it has to restart or wont drain then locks clothes in for hours. Have no control over how long to dry items it decides for you? And takes so long to cool down. Horrible not efficient wastes so much water and energy

So frustrated. Washer shakes like crazy and shaking has caused a leak in the bellows from the detergent drawer to the drum. The part is back ordered with no known date to be back in stock. Can tell they knew it was a problem because there is a piece of fabric placed on the drum where the bellows touches it. You can see the black specks of the rubber rubbed off. So frustrated. Its not even 3 years old.

Please DO NOT buy this washer from LG. They shake like crazy and LG provides no help. I have done every natural thing you can think of - check the level install vibration pads remove the bolts etc etc. LG simple sends out a tech that barely looks at the machine they insist the machine is fine and you are stuck. This sends vibrations throughout my entire house and LG does not care. Spend your money elsewhere.

I bought this over a month ago and have been super happy with it. It is quieter than i thought for something that runs twice as fast as top loader washer. My clothes come out quite dry which take more load off of dryer. I love the notifications that i get from their app that tells me when a load is done monthly runs tracking energy use and lets me know when i need to perform maintenance like running tub clean cycle. A little more than i originally wanted to pay but just got my electric bill and it dropped so that will offset it.
